Legal Dispute Between Callejón Sisters Over Father

Buenos Aires, January 30 (NA) – Sandra Callejón and María Fernanda Callejón remain at odds, and now the judicial system is getting involved to put an end to the dispute by issuing a restraining order and ordering a psychiatric evaluation for the older sister for preventing her father from seeing her. After Sandra publicly expressed her desire to travel to Buenos Aires to see her niece Giovanna's theater debut, it was Fernanda who came forward to deny it, stating that her sister could not get close because a restraining order was in effect. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), through 'La Mañana con Moria,' Fernanda spoke about the issue and yielded the floor to her lawyer, Eduardo Allende. 'This is a very delicate family matter and I do not want to delve into it,' the actress stated, although she confirmed that the restraining order was requested by Sandra. From there, the lawyer explained how such measures originate, as when there is a possibility that a person could cause harm or injury to another, the Justice system usually applies a preventive restriction while the facts are investigated. Allende clarified that, from his perspective, Fernanda poses no risk and that her only interest is to know her father's health status: 'These are two public figures, neither of them needs media exposure or benefits from this situation.' The lawyer also noted that it is still unknown what the concrete grounds presented to the Justice were to request the restraining order, and that point will be analyzed once the judicial recess in Córdoba, scheduled for Monday, February 2, is over. Meanwhile, the panelist for Moria asked to lower the level of the conflict and prioritize the well-being of her daughter: 'I want this to stop. My ex-husband and I are going to unite to protect Giovanna, and my family knows very well why'.
